Poem: Summer, 2018

Summer is easy like a Sunday morning

A cool breeze here and there with nothing to spare

Reeds whistling in the wind as they sway from side to side

How can you not love summer

Tiny waterfalls, ripples in the nearby stream

How can you not love God’s creation ?

Summer dayz, long strolls in the mountains

Lazy afternoons, ice cream cones

Bicycle rides and surfboards

Laughter ringing from the hills

Volleyball and outdoor activities

Sunblock and sunburn

How can you not love God’s creation?
